Join, Renew, Order Books, Donate Online

Many members have asked for an online payment option and we're happy to announce this feature is up and running. The new PSNH online payment system offers you the ability to join as a new member or renew your membership. Also this will streamline our book ordering process (Want one of our anthologies for a gift? Need an extra issue of our quarterly journal The Poets' Touchstone?). You can also help us celebrate and foster New Hampshire poets and poetry by making a donation. You can chose to support PSNH in general or designate a special fund such as:

  • Walter Butts NH Poet Laureate Fund (helps pay for travel and other expenses related to the work of NH Poets Laureate)
  • Mary Gildea Memorial Scholarship Fund (provides scholarships for teachers who need financial support to attend poetry conferences such as at The Frost Place)

PSNH is a 501(c)3 charity. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

Let us know what you think!

A Tribute to NH Poet Laureate Walter Butts
On March 31, 2013, we lost a kind and generous man as well as a true advocate of poetry, our dear friend Walter Butts.  As our NH Poet Laureate, Walter was tireless when it came to sharing and building appreciation for poetry in the state and beyond.  We are grateful for all his efforts – and will miss him greatly.  Walter's wife, S. Stephanie, has asked that donations in his memory go to a special NH Poet Laureate Fund to help pay for travel and other expenses related to the work of future NH Poets Laureate.

Donations should be made payable to the Poetry Society of New Hampshire with a memo that indicates "Walter Butts" or "memorial fund" or "Poet Laureate acct" and mailed to
